Christian H. Pilgrim, DDS

Dr Pilgrim attended Oklahoma City University on a baseball scholarship where he earned his Bachelor of Science Degree.  Upon graduating from OCU Dr. Pilgrim entered the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry.  I earned my Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree in 2001. 
Since graduating from OU College of Dentistry I have gone to Misch Institute for Dental Implants .

He  enjoys the challenges of running his own practice because it allows both himself and the patient to influence treatment giving you the best dental care by utilizing your dental insurance without compromising your dental health.  He stays current in the dental field with an emphasis on implants by attending numerous continuing education seminars.

Dr Pilgrim lives in South Oklahoma City with wife, Elizabeth, daughter Ella, and two dogs Devon and Harley.  Dr Pilgrim enjoys attending chuch at St. Lukes Methodist Church, attending sporting events, playing golf and softball.

Ellen Chidester, Office Manager

I have been in dentistry since 1993 and at this same office.  I have an associates degree in Accounting.  Before coming to the dental profession I taught school – kindergarten and third grade.

I have four children and four grandchildren.  God should have told us about grandchildren first, they are so awesome.

I love my job and the people I work with also.  My main focus is to make sure you are as comfortable and happy as possible and to easy the fear that many have in coming to the dentist.

Kim Gibson, Accounts Receivable

I have been in the dentistry field for 27 years.  I have worked in this office since 1993. 

I have one daughter, two sons and a beautiful granddaughter, all of which I am very proud.

In my spare time my husband and I enjoy spending it with our family and friends either at the lake, sporting event, or just hanging out.  We always have a great time.

Rhonda Morris, Dental Assistant

Hi my name is Rhonda and I have been in dentistry for 29 years.  I have worked in this office since 1987.

I have one son and one grandson.  Rowing is my favorite pastime. 

I have always loved being in dentistry and will continuing doing it as long as I am able.  I will do my best to make you feel as comfortable as possible and treat you as I would my own my family.

Sharlene Tanksley, Dental Assistant

I’m a young 37 year old wife and mother of five.  One’s a graduate of University of Tennesse.  One’s a senior of Midwest City High School. And two at Traub Elementary.  I attend Fairview Baptist Church where I love to sing in the choir.  O like to spend time with my friends and family on the weekends. 

I’m a down to earth person, easy to get along with, and love to see people with a smile on their face.  Always remember; this is the day that the Lord has made and I will rejoice and be glad in it, because you never know when it’s your last.

Debby Gilbert, Hygienist

I have been a dental hygienist for 22 years and have had the privilege of working at this office and with this team for the past 16 years. 

My children are both grown and married.  I have a daughter and granddaughter in Hawaii.  My granddaughter is 2 years old and my husband and I love to visit as much as possible.  My son and his wife life in Tulsa – no grandchildren there yet but hope so soon – will be a much shorter travel to see them. 

I enjoy seeing all my patients on a regular basis and watching their families grow up over the years.  I enjoy working in a family oriented practice and hope to see you and yours soon.

Sue Bowlby, Hygienest

My name is Sue Bowlby.  I am a dental hygienist.  I graduated from the University of Iowa in 1982.  I started working in Iowa after gradution and moved to Oklahoma in April 1985.

I have continued to work in Oklahoma City and joined Dr. Pilgrim’s team in August 2004. 

It has been fun working for Dr Pilgrim.  He encourages us to reach our full potential as well as expanding his own skills.  The staff is professional and dedicated and I am glad to be part of the team.
